The width of the sign holder is referenced in the first number. Signs starting with a '7' are for 7" x 5" or landscape oriented signs. Those starting with a '5' are for 5" x 7" or portrait oriented signs. The last 2 numbers indicate leg length.
 
You can use these to stick in the ground or put into bases which are sold separately.
